WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO CREATE KIDIVIST?

It began in the typical "nesting phase" during my pregnancy. I was looking for a delicate and poetic mobile for my son's bedroom and I couldn't find any that I really like, so I decided to do it myself.

WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE YOU STARTED KIDIVIST?

Architect.

WHAT WAS THE BEST BUSINESS ADVICE YOU RECEIVED?

To work on refined details and concentrate on the handmade quality because I can't compete with mass production products. 

WHAT IS NEXT FOR KIDIVIST?

I got some offers to sell my mobiles in some design shops, in Germany and Sweden. I would like to develop this in parallel to my online activity.

I've worked a lot on the packaging to make it beautiful and smart. I wanted my mobile to be the perfect present. 

WHERE DO YOU LIVE?

Berlin, Germany.

IF WE WERE VISITING YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, WHAT WOULD BE ON YOUR LIST FOR US TO SEE/DO/EAT/SHOP?

Relaxing in Weinbergspark.  Having the best cheesecake ever at Kaffeemitte (Weinmeisterstraße 9a, 10178 Berlin-Mitte).  Eating a falafel at Dada (Linienstraße 132, 10115 Berlin-Mitte).  Shopping for clothes and shoes for my son at Dollyrocker (Gärtnerstraße 25, 10245 Berlin-Friedrichshain).

WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?

Chocolate and red wine.

My bike.  My vintage Casio watch. My leather boots (i still love them after ten years).  My sketchbook.  And my teapot.
